Who We Are
MD+A Architects is a Sydney-based practice dedicated to transforming spaces through thoughtful, purposeful design. For over 20 years, we have been delivering innovative architectural solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments — always with a clear focus on our clients' vision, budget, and long-term goals.
Our work is led by Nominated Architect Brent Marvin (Architects Registration Board #7462), whose hands-on involvement ensures every project meets the highest architectural and regulatory standards in Australia, from the first sketch through to the final handover.
We are not a firm that passes your project down a chain. When you work with MD+A, you work directly with us.

Our Experience
Over two decades in practice have given us something no brief can teach: an instinctive understanding of what makes a project succeed, and what makes it stall. We have deep experience navigating the complexity of the development approval process. We know how local councils think, what they look for, and how to present a proposal that moves forward. In some cases, our approach has delivered project approvals up to three times faster than comparable developments in the same area. Our portfolio spans bespoke residential homes, dual occupancy and townhouse developments, large-scale apartment buildings, commercial facilities, aged care, and hospitality, all across greater Sydney and NSW..

Meet the Team
Brent Marvin | Managing Director
Provides strategic leadership, ensures design excellence, and oversees the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion. Responsible for client relationships, financial oversight, commercial strategy, and final approval of project budgets, proposals, and quotations while maintaining the firm’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Razvan Poting | Practice Manager & Senior Architect
Directs operational workflows and team performance, provides high-level technical oversight and BCA compliance verification, and serves as backup for drawing approvals when Brent is unavailable.
Tudor Stan | Senior Architect & Technical Manager
Technical specialist focused on delivery and compliance; maintains and manages the firm’s Resource Library Index as the team’s go-to subject matter expert.
Everline Mangcoy | Studio & Office Manager
Runs daily studio production and administrative continuity, oversees project documentation and coordination, manages timekeeping, and provides weekly time/cost reporting to clients.
Angela Felix | Junior Architect
Executes production and documentation tasks, carries out site analysis, and applies research-driven problem-solving across active projects.
